It ignores cooking smoke, exhaust fumes, steam, and thick dust, reacting only when the temperature indicates an actual fire.

Dual-Protection Technology: This unit combines two sensing methods for maximum safety:

  1. Rate-of-Rise (RoR): Detects a sudden spike in temperature (15°F per minute). This catches fast-moving fires quickly, even if the room is still cold.

  2. Fixed Temperature: A fail-safe mechanism that triggers the alarm if the ambient temperature reaches 135°F (57°C), regardless of how slowly the heat built up.

Universal Application: Because it uses a simple contact closure, this detector is compatible with virtually any conventional fire alarm panel (Honeywell, Mircom, Edwards). It is the mandatory device for:
