Unlike older ionization detectors that are prone to false alarms from cooking or steam, this unit uses Photoelectric technology. It is optimized to detect smoldering fires—the most common threat in offices, schools, and retail spaces—while ignoring transient nuisance signals.

Universal Compatibility: Designed to work with the vast majority of commercial 2-Wire conventional fire panels (including Honeywell, Fire-Lite, Mircom, and Edwards). It draws power directly from the zone circuit, meaning you don’t need to run a separate power supply wire.

Intelligent Maintenance Features:

• Dust Compensation: The detector automatically adjusts its sensitivity threshold as dust accumulates over time. This prevents the “nuisance alarms” common with cheaper detectors.
